The next monthly meeting of the Supervisory Board of Azerbaijan Innovation Export Consortium (AZINNEX) was held. Heads of 10 leading ICT companies in Azerbaijan being member of AZINNEX were presented activity report for April and they were informed about meetings held with representatives of foreign countries during month in the meeting.

Significant decisions were taken at the meeting on AZINNEX starting activity in the Uzbekistan market. Thus, the proposal on its manager operating in the above mentioned country to start active operation in Uzbekistan was unanimously adopted. Moreover, strategic steps for the next target countries were discussed. Export of “ASAN Service” model to the foreign countries by State Agency for Citizens Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and potential export opportunities of products and services proposed by the AZINNEX member companies within this framework positively evaluated.

Simultaneously, use of joint co-operation opportunities between AZINNEX members and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) was positively evaluated, usage opportunities from export promotion tools offered by AZPROMO was discussed.

The main debate topic of the monthly meeting was development of innovations in Azerbaijan and preparation of proposals relating to application of stimulating tools of the innovative companies operating in this direction. In debates it was decided that, relevant policy document should be prepared and duly submitted.

The meeting was completed with assignments on planned work to be done in the following months.
