On November 22, an event dedicated to the 1st year anniversary of the "Azerbaijan Innovations Export Consortium" Public Union (AZINNEX) was held. Representatives of government agencies, diplomatic corps, international organizations, heads of companies were briefed on the work done by the consortium, and on its cooperation at local and international levels.

Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Mehdiyev, noted that AZINNEX, established at the initiative of the agency, is working to further improve the position of our country, to form intellectual, innovative and competitive potential. AZINNEX is directly involved in the export of the Azerbaijani brand "ASAN service" to other countries as an intellectual product. In addition to the "ASAN service" model, AZINNEX is also a platform for exporting various IT products and services owned by local companies.

Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Igbal Babayev, Deputy Director of AIDA, Aliya Aghazada, acting for the president of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), Yusif Abdullayev, spoke about the introduction of local IT products in the world market and highly appreciated AZINNEX's activities.

Chairman of the AZINNEX Supervisory Board, Jana Krimpe, has underscored that bringing together the consortium member companies operating in the ICT sector, AZINNEX represents them, protects the interests and promotes the export of innovative solutions on the international market. The Chairperson emphasized the role of state support in the achievements in ICT sector. She also noted that within the activities of AZINNEX, the meetings were held with high-ranking representatives from different countries to form relations, offer innovative products of Azerbaijan and discuss the directions of cooperation.

The member of the Supervisory Board, President of SINAM LLC, Elchin Aliyev, made a presentation reflecting the activities of the consortium. Then, AZINNEX signed Memorandums of Understanding with National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ADA University and American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham).

At the end of the event, the awards were presented to the consortium partners and the membership certificates were give to the member companies.
