A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Azerbaijan Innovations Export Consortium (AZINNEX) and e-Government and Digital Economy Project Management Center under the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The memorandum was signed by the chairman of the AZINNEX Consortium Ilham Namazov and the director of the e-Government and Digital Economy Project Management Center Shahrasul Shokhazamiy.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties agreed to share experience on e-government projects, jointly organize forums and round tables.
When signing the Memorandum of Understanding, Davron Maksudov, Deputy Director of the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, emphasized the importance of the experience of Azerbaijan in electronic government. He informed the AZINNEX delegation about the creation of the "Digital Uzbekistan" roadmap and steps to develop e-government and the digital economy in 2020-2025 in Uzbekistan.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AZINNEX, Ilham Namazov, gave detailed information on projects implemented in government bodies of Azerbaijan, including the ASAN İmza signature.
In Uzbekistan, the AZINNEX delegation also held a number of meetings with representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank, the State Tax Committee, the Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center and the Agency for the Development of Public-Private Partnerships.
The Azerbaijan Innovations Export Consortium, established at the initiative of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is working to further improve our country's position in international rankings, and develop intellectual, innovative and competitive potential. The consortium brings together companies operating in the field of information and communication technologies to protect their interests, represent them on the international market and sell their IT products.
